The Farmers’ Market Committee is looking for help – we need volunteers to get the Market off to a good start. Anyone interested in helping on Saturday mornings or interested in being a Market Manager should contact us at farmersmarket@visittippcity.org for a volunteer application. The Farmers’ Market Committee met on March 7th and moved forward with plans to hold a Farmers’ Market in Tipp City starting in May of this year. We have created and mailed out a Vendor’s Survey to find local growers and producers interested in selling at the market.

If you are interested in selling at the market or filling out one of our surveys, please download the survey, which can be found below, complete it, and return to the email address shown below. Alternately, please contact us by emailing Greg Enslen at farmersmarket@visittippcity.org or calling Matt Owen at 667-8300. We’re interested in getting feedback from vendors to improve the Market, establish optimum hours and location, and find out what infrastructure needs will be required, such as electrical power or water.

We also created a logo and set our next meeting date for March 28th at 5pm at the Tipp City Chamber office at 12 South Third Street. Please join us if you want to participate or if you have input – we need all the help we can get! If you are interested in helping plan this effort or in becoming a vendor, please contact the Farmers’ Market Committee at farmersmarket@visittippcity.org or by phone to Matt Owen, Partnership Coordinator at 667-8300. For up-to-date information on the Farmers’ Market or more information on the Visitor’s Bureau and Tipp City, please visit www.visittippcity.org. By Greg Enslen, Downtown Tipp City Partnership
